Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026.
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by ToolVero. For information about document processing and contact information, read our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
On your first visit in a browser without a saved choice, our Cookie choices banner asks whether to allow Google Analytics. Accept analytics enables measurement; Reject analytics leaves it disabled. Closing the banner does not grant consent. The tools work without Analytics consent.
You can reopen settings using the footer on any page. Rejecting after acceptance disables further Analytics measurement and clears accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase measurements already sent to Google.
What we store
- Consent preference: local storage named
toolvero-analytics-consent-v1records granted or denied. It is not an advertising identifier. It has no automatic expiry in this implementation and remains until replaced or cleared by you or your browser. - Optional Analytics: Google Analytics is loaded only after acceptance. It may set first-party cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to distinguish visits and sessions. These cookies commonly have a lifetime of up to two years; actual retention can depend on Google configuration and browser restrictions. - Offline resources: our service worker caches selected public pages, scripts, styles and icons for repeat visits. This cache is separate from cookies and is not intended to store documents selected in the tools.
Advertising and third-party services
Google AdSense scripts are included on the site and may make network requests separately from Analytics. Our Analytics buttons do not grant or withdraw advertising consent, and rejecting Analytics does not block all third-party connections. Where Google presents an advertising consent message, use its controls to make or change those choices.
Advertising storage and retention depend on the services and choices applicable to you. See Google’s cookie information and how Google uses information from partner sites. Public libraries and footer badges may also be retrieved from external providers; a resource request is not the same as uploading a selected document.
Clearing or blocking storage
Your browser settings can delete cookies, local storage and cached site data. Clearing the saved preference makes the banner appear again. Choices apply to the current browser and site origin; another device or private window may ask separately. If browser storage is blocked, the choice may not persist after navigation. Removing offline caches can require an internet connection on your next visit.
