ToolVero Editorial Policy
How we write, check and correct guides, comparisons and buying advice.
Last reviewed: October 15, 2026 · Maintained by Fahad Farid
ToolVero publishes instructions to help readers complete specific tasks with its browser tools. The site is created and maintained by Fahad Farid. A byline identifies who is responsible for a guide; it is not a claim of a formal security, legal or medical qualification.
What goes into a guide
A useful guide states the input, the steps, the expected output and what to check afterward. Where it helps, we add a small worked example, a sample file or a troubleshooting path. The instructions should match the linked tool's visible controls. Different browser versions, file structures and memory limits can change results, so a guide describes known limitations instead of guaranteeing an outcome for every file.
For example, the merge PDF guide includes labelled sample documents and a page-count check. The photo metadata guide explains what can be removed from a new copy and what still requires checking. Readers should verify any final file before deleting its source.
Comparisons and buying guidance
Our PDF comparisons describe concrete differences in workflow, pricing or processing scope where those claims can be supported. Vendor plans and product features change; visit the vendor's current page before making a purchase decision. ToolVero's buying guides are selection checklists, not hands-on reviews unless a page explicitly documents hands-on testing. We do not invent performance measurements or imply that a tool has a certification it has not earned.
Sources and privacy claims
For third-party features and policies, we prefer the provider's own documentation and link to it when practical. For ToolVero behavior, the tool page and Privacy Center distinguish local file handling from page analytics, advertising and optional library downloads. A website security grade or directory badge applies only to the scope and date of that provider's assessment; it is not a blanket certification of every tool.
Updates and corrections
Guides are revisited when the associated tool changes or a reader reports an error. A visible updated date should reflect a meaningful content review, rather than a routine footer or navigation change. If a step fails, a linked resource is out of date or a claim needs correction, send the page URL, expected result, actual result and browser/device details to hello@toolvero.co. Avoid attaching sensitive documents; describe the issue or use a redacted sample. We review reports and correct or qualify material errors on the affected page.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising and affiliate income help support the site but should not determine technical instructions or make a paid product appear to have been tested. Buying guides identify affiliate links and explain their scope. Read the affiliate disclosure and privacy policy for more detail.
