ToolVero Guide

How to Convert HTML to PDF Online | ToolVero

Convert HTML to PDF in your browser with page size and orientation controls. Follow the steps, preview the result and check external assets and text selection.

Can I convert HTML to PDF?

Yes. Open HTML to PDF, paste self-contained HTML, select A4 or Letter and an orientation, preview the page, then download the PDF. Check the saved result in a PDF viewer before sending it.

Inline styles and embedded content are more predictable than remote fonts or images. If selectable text, links or accessibility are essential, inspect those properties in the downloaded file; a visual preview alone does not prove they survived conversion.

What is HTML to PDF conversion?

HTML to PDF conversion turns a web document or HTML fragment into a fixed-layout PDF. It is useful when a document needs to be saved, printed, shared or archived in a format that looks more consistent across devices.

How to convert HTML to PDF online

  1. Open ToolVero HTML to PDF.
  2. Paste your HTML source into the editor.
  3. Choose A4 or Letter and select portrait or landscape orientation.
  4. Preview the rendered page.
  5. Convert the HTML to PDF and inspect the downloaded file.

Use self-contained HTML for better results

Inline CSS and self-contained content are the most predictable. External images, fonts and stylesheets can be affected by browser cross-origin rules. Complex interactive JavaScript applications may also render differently from a full browser print engine.

HTML to PDF for reports and printable pages

Use headings, paragraphs, lists and tables to structure the document. Choose A4 when your workflow expects common international paper dimensions and Letter when the destination specifically uses Letter. Review page breaks and make sure important content is not clipped.

Privacy considerations

ToolVero's converter processes the pasted HTML in the browser rather than sending it to a ToolVero file-processing server. If your HTML references third-party resources, those resources may still be requested by the browser. For sensitive material, self-contained HTML is preferable.

Common problems

Check whether an image-based PDF meets your needs

This converter captures the rendered HTML as an image and places image slices on PDF pages. Text is not exported as selectable PDF text, and hyperlinks do not become clickable PDF links. If searchable text, accessibility tags or live links are required, use a suitable document export or browser print workflow and verify those features in its output.

Test a one-page document first

Use a short heading, two paragraphs and a small table. Export it and check all four page edges, table borders and the last row. Add your full content only after the small example looks right. The current export slices by page height; a long table row or line of text can cross a slice boundary. Simplify the layout or choose a different export workflow when exact page breaks matter.

HTML to PDF vs browser printing

A browser's print dialog can offer advanced print-specific CSS and printer controls. ToolVero is intended for a quick browser-based conversion workflow and is most predictable with straightforward, self-contained HTML.
