ToolVero's Sign PDF tool places a visible signature image on a page. You can draw it, type a name for a handwritten-style rendering, or upload a PNG. It is not a certificate-backed digital signature and does not prove a signer's identity or detect later changes to the document.
Choose the right kind of signature
For an informal acknowledgement or a document whose recipient accepts a visual signature, a stamped image may be sufficient for the workflow. For a document that specifically requires a cryptographic signature, qualified signature or verifiable certificate, use a service designed for that requirement. Do not describe a visual stamp as digitally verified.
Place a visual signature
- Open Sign PDF and select the PDF. Choose the intended page.
- Draw in the signature canvas, enter signature text, or upload a transparent PNG. Use Clear if you need to redraw.
- Select a position—bottom right, bottom left, top right, top left or center—and inspect the preview.
- Choose Sign PDF, then review the exported page at normal reading size.
If the form has a signature line near the lower-left corner, choose bottom left and check that the image does not cover a date, name or legal text. The preset positions are not arbitrary drag-to-coordinate placement.
Check what the recipient will see
Confirm the correct page was selected, the mark is legible and nothing important is obscured. If the PDF has multiple signature lines, this tool's single placement workflow may not meet the document's requirements. Keep the original and the signed output as distinct copies.
Privacy and document integrity
The chosen document and signature are processed by the browser workflow, while supporting libraries may be fetched from third parties. Stamping a PDF changes its bytes and can invalidate a pre-existing cryptographic signature. For a password-protected PDF, first determine whether you are authorized to unlock it with Unlock PDF.
