What this PDF editor can do

Preview one page at a time, move between pages, and add text, freehand marks, highlights, outlined rectangles, white cover shapes, images or a visual signature. Select annotations to reposition them, undo or redo recent changes, and download a new PDF when finished. The source PDF remains unchanged.

This is annotation editing: new objects are placed over the existing page. It does not change the original text, images, links, form fields or document structure. A visual signature is not a certificate-backed digital signature.

How to edit a PDF in your browser

  1. Choose a PDF from your device. The editor renders its pages locally in your browser.
  2. Pick a tool, set the color or size, and add annotations on the page. For text, type it in the toolbar first.
  3. Use page controls to annotate other pages. Select a mark to move it, or delete it.
  4. Download the edited copy and open it to review the result before sharing.

PDF editing limits and privacy

ToolVero does not upload the selected document to a ToolVero file-processing server. The PDF libraries are served from ToolVero; the website also makes ordinary hosting, analytics and advertising requests. Processing large or complex PDFs can use substantial device memory and battery. Encrypted PDFs may need to be unlocked first.

White-out only adds a white overlay. It is not a secure redaction method and must not be used to hide confidential details. Flattening or printing to an image can also remove text selection and accessibility, so inspect the downloaded copy carefully.

PDF editor questions

Can I edit the existing words in a PDF?

This editor adds text and annotations over a PDF page. It does not rewrite or replace the original text objects in the document.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

The PDF is opened and edited in your browser. ToolVero does not send the selected PDF to a ToolVero file-processing server. Normal website analytics and page requests are separate from the document processing.

Does white-out securely redact information?

No. White-out places a visible white shape over content; underlying text or objects may remain recoverable. Use a verified redaction tool for confidential information.

Does the signature create a digital certificate signature?

No. It adds a visual signature image and does not create a cryptographic certificate-backed or PAdES signature.
